OK, I'm impressed, but I still can't think of more than one thing for myself (I certainly haven't been circumcised!)

Yeah, I figured having that done when I was 20 would be pretty unique out of everyone else I know :p

Don't reccommend 'morning glory' when you've got stitches in though!! :(

1. I have a few 'plane' stories it must be said.
2. I'm almost psitive it's different teachers but will compare notes with them to see who each of us had :p
3. I think it was Katie. To be honest I can remember it but not very well. She was getting caught in the current dragging her towards the jetty-things. I'm surprised I was any help as I'm not a good swimmer either!

I've been on a plane that was struck by lighting. It was like a giant hammer hit the wing. No catastrophic failures, though.

The incident with the lightning strike was flying from LA to Vegas a couple of years ago. There was just a massive bang, the plane drop altitude quickly, and I think everybody either thought one of the engines had blown up or there was a bomb somewhere.
The captain came on quickly to inform everyone it was lightning and for all crew and passengers to remain seated for the duration of the journey due to a lot of turbalence. It was a pretty bumpy ride but nothing was (luckily) damaged.

"Studied Wicca under one of the most prominent and well-known Wiccan's in the UK"

Done that too. And also with one of the most prominent, but not publically well known Wiccans too. To my everlasting shame I once fell asleep in a small group led by the late Doreen Valiente (who pretty much co-founded Wicca)!

Circumcised about 10 years later than you though.

I'm aiming for the mini-marathon (but at 37!). I run 10 miles sometimes at weekends.

I seem to be getting the feeling that the Wiccan one is pretty much out of the window. Have to come up with something new :p

Circumcised at 30! Ouch! I didn't like it much at 20 so can sympathise with any early morning troubles you may have experienced afterwards. One of the nurses wound me up after I had it done and needed to pee. She told me it'd be like pissing glass and I stood in front on the toilet for probably a good ten minutes terrified to relieve myself. When I did it didn't hurt at all though - the bitch! I also didn't realise that stitches weep, having never had stitches before that op. That was a shock.....

Don;t think I'd be able to run a mini-marathon anymore. I certainly don't run 10 miles at weekends, I'd be lucky to run a mile! Well done to you sir!

I bet you have not done this.

Helped create a new religion, based on a fantasy series by a prominant author.

Well, seeing as I will see you in about three weeks I promise to PLY you with beers if only you will share your stories. They all sound fascinating :) I will arrive at the Riviera Sunday morning of the show and will try to be in public areas where I can easily be found. In fact, if I can dig up your email I'll send you my phone # and you can call me from your room when you check in so we can figure out where to meet up.

I'm curious as to why a Brit would get circumcised at all, actually. I thought only Americans did it for non-religious reasons.
