Creationism by the back door.
Good lord (pun intended)

At least this was banned. The only part of the arguement that the creationists seem to have got right is when they argue that today's science fact may not be the whole truth... That the theory of Evolution is just a theory (although a fairly convincing one I feel) and that one should keep an open mind to alternatives.

Its just a shame that this arguement only seems to apply to things they dont agree with... Thus making them hypocrites and stupid.

I also once saw the arguement (from the creationist POV) that once we thought the Earth was flat but now we know its round. Still after all the heretics burned by their precursors its nice to know that sooner or later, after 400-odd years, even the creationists can acknowledge fact.

I did especially like;

"That move provoked US TV evangelist Pat Robertson to warn the town was invoking the wrath of God."

Thus proving that the School Board had no religious motives for promoting ID, and showing how the School/State and Religion remained seperate.

Its all George W's fault. Again.

Thats what we get for a borderline religious fundamentalist for US president. Just because its Christian doesn't change its fundamentalism.
