Oww...my eyes.........

So, that's what Civilization IV is like then. When nicole said it was addictive she wasn't kidding me.

My eyes hurt now.

I loaded it up onto the laptop to see if it'd work (yeah - honestly that WAS the reason!) and now, about 8 hours later, I have finished my first game. It was fun - even though I couldn't find one pesky enemy city. It's actually the first time I've properly played any of the Civ games on computer and I have a feeling it may not be the last.

Oh well.

Also saw the Manchester City - Manchester United game on telly which was another gripping game (well the second half was as I only actually caught that bit..). It was good to see Man City come up trumps for a change (they won 3-1!).

Anyway, I want to stop looking at computer screens and do some reading before giving my eyes a deserved rest.

See ya laters LJ peeps!

No Civ VI. I've been time travelling today and played a futuristic version of the game....

Hmmm...perhaps not then. Thanks for pointing out the error. I have editted the original post :p

Now I really must get offline. Have to organise a non-club/party drink sometime if you're up for it btw!

Civ IV is indeed addictive.
VERY!!!

Mind you I find I get bored after playing for, you know, 3 or 4 days staraight.

By the way- what is it with the 'make the words appear so small and pale on the screen no bugger can see what they are typing?
You trying to say something?

Civ is addictive. I've lost many many hours to playing xxuan's Christmas present*.

*Well, one of them, and she said I could play it. Me being the bigger Civ addict.
