Coachella Valley Music Festival 2006 Line-Up

Well, most of the bands have just been announced. Now I have to think long and hard about whether or not to go all the way to California for a two-day music festival. Certainly a load of bands I'd like to see and with there being no Glastonbury Festival this year it's even more tempting.

If you do decide your up for it then let me know asap. If we can get a group of people we can hire a condo w pool, etc, between us which is a lot cheaper than a hotel and would also allow us time to 'chill' both before and after the festival itself if we wanted to spend some additional time in the States.

I would probably be interested in a week, any idea what costs would look like?

2-Day Ticket for the festival is about £100 (just under I think).

I'll have a look at flight costs (probably around the £350/400 mark?) and the cost of the Condo. The last time I looked was a year or so back and I can't remember the actual hire costs now. I think for a week with six people it worked out about £80 each or something.

*reads list*
Hm, I seem to be so far removed from popular culture that there isn't a single band I'd spend money to see, let alone travel across the atlantic for. It could just mean I'm old, though...

Why not wait until the line-ups for Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop are out?
Those are usually quite good and Belgium is a lot nearer than California ;)
