It was only a matter of time before body modification started moving into "the grafting of body parts to other body parts" arena previously only seen in the more fetish orientated sci-fi fiction.

A performer has had a vat-grown human ear grafted onto his arm in the name of art and performance.

Performer Gets Third Ear For Art (BBC News Online; Thursday 11th October 2007)

Wonder if he paid for it. If not - who did? If he did then I think its well funny. Imagine the possibilities..*imagines some pretty cool possibilities*

Remember, for every cool possibility, there are probably four Bad And Wrong possibilities that could be entertained...

On that note, and on the note of several ideas I didn't want, I'm going to drink myself into a coma.

Well yes. My first thought was arms covered in toes. But then my thoughts got a bit more Bad And Wrong. On that note I just nearly died drinking wine and trying to do yoga simultaneously in a very hot bath.

The Bad And Wrong does seem to spiral out of control rather rapidly, to be honest...

nearly died drinking wine and trying to do yoga simultaneously in a very hot bath.

Owing to my brain and prior subject matter, that, in and of itself, throws up some rather odd mental images, none of which bear any probable likeness to what actually happened.

I would hope.

Sadly, the images might bear a frightening resemblance to actual events. Not pretty, and with the benefit of hindsight, it wasn't my smartest decision today, but I made me laugh (when I'd stopped choking)and that's all that matters.

For the sake of my/universal sanity, I hope not. You didn't die, however, so this is a bonus. You've learned something today ;)

Wine=good
Hot bath=good
Yoga=good

All three together=disaster.

Reminds me of that Eddie Izzard thing about looking cool: One eyepatch, cool. Two eyepatches: Bit of a twat.

Nonsense. I pride myself on my ability to do silly things, repeatedly, and fail to learn anything useful.

I follow the logic; if it doesn't kill and/or chronically incapacitate you, then clearly it's suitable for a daily activity. Or something.

(Kinda guilty of that one, too!)

Excellent philosophy. Always remember - funny overrules everything.

Absolutely. Funnily enough, that's one of the motivational posters I'm going to be putting up on an edited LJ post. More or less.

Will be Here. Anyway, best go and get some kip before I pass out or Angus kills me for spamming his journal ;).

Sorry I did reply to your SMS, my mobile has been playing up today.
Yeah, let's do the movies tomorrow... after work I have to stop by Camden to drop something of and then will come here. Unfortunately Liana will be going to her uncle's... What time did you have in mind ?
