Investment Options?

It never only rains it bloody well pours.

Had some absolutely fantastic news regarding licenses today - and not only the one we've previously been in negotiations about. In a complete twist of fate we've been offered something that some people may consider almost as big - if not actually bigger - and may have an option on something which is WAY bigger which I can't currently believe.

On the downside I think we're really going to have to start looking at serious investment as the little part-time POD company model isn't going to be viable much longer and to capitalise on the possibilities on offer to us is going to take a bit more than my weekly pocket money :p

If anyone fancies investing in us - or more likely has tips and suggestions on investment options - please feel free to drop me a line on angus @ cubicle7.co.uk and we can chat.

Many thanks

Angus

I think we need to move that meeting forward, eh?

Seriously, want me to come in some Saturday and chat to you guys? Or even better, meet at CA for a drink one night?

Had you looked at Arts Council Funding? Might be possible.

Have you thought about hooking down at the pier for some extra scratch?

Couldn't hurt...too much, anyway.

Just remember. When you get to present your pitch on Dragons Den, dress smart, remember your pitch and know your numbers.

And above all, never, ever bring an 'in-character' Jack Sparrow look-a-like.

How much? As in, what would be too little to be worth the admin?

With our exchange rate... Why can we get to 80c with the US dollar and still be at 34c to the pound!

Congratulations on the stunning success of your group tho, I've loved watching its developments (and I don't even game - unless you count Munchkin!)

You're turning into a Vorlon, but I'm still pleased for you. ;)

I would imagine that there are all sorts of interesting options given the nontraditionalness of the field... Maybe there are other rising stars you could form partnerships with (no, I don't mean me, I mean people with brand recognition and funds).

This might be worth airing in the YGN forums.

PS
I wonder how much the Clangers licence would go for? If I did that my place in the firmament would be assured!
