It's Trailer Time boys n girls! And this time we're doing something slightly different... one film, one computer game and one TV advert.

Why? Because I caught these when I was in the States (or in the case of the computer game trailer on amanofhats LJ when I got home today) and thought I'd share. It also means I can delete a couple of saved text drafts on my phone I wrote as reminders about these...

Anyway, here goes...

The Dark M&M's (Addams Family Advert)

House of the Dead: Overkill Advert (WII - Grindhouse Flavour)

The Spirit (Director Frank Miller)

Argh that Spirit trailer really annoys me - it's portrayed as a Miller creation in so many ways and only fleetingly mentions the real creator of the Comic. Will Eisner is a Giant. Frank Miller is only an OK wannabe in comparison. Grr. Grr.

But, if it was done as "Here's the Spirit, who you're really unlikely to heard of. Written by some bloke who's name is likely to be just as unfamiliar? Oh by the way, you know that really cool 300 and Sin City bloke? He's sort of written this is and is directing it." ...

I'd agree with that - not to mention that the trailer hasn't sold the film to me at all. I've never read any Eisner, and I'm not inspired to learn more based on what I've seen. I'd be more likely to go and see the Addams Family M&M movie than this.

Not sure whether or not to be excited about The Spirit. The trailer looks awesome but I'm concerned it'll be style over substance... Probably still go see it if I get the chance.
