Happy New Year

I hope everyone had an enjoyable New Years Evening whatever you got up to.

I actually had a very pleasent night at home with Dave. We ended up sitting infront of the Telly for about 4 hours watching the "100 Most Annoying People of 2008" on BBC Three :p It was an interesting show and allowed both of us to just chill, eat pizza and relax after quite a hectic 2009. The rest of the housemates were down at Vagabonds (Ray was DJing and Natasha had been guestlisted) but going out clubbing this year didn't really appeal.  I'm out this evening for drinks and probably out clubbing tomorrow night and may have a friend staying over on Saturday night - so NYE was my last chance for a quiet evening until Sunday - so I grasped it with both hands.

Anyway, I've had a pretty good 2008 overall. It's been a year of building foundations for 2009 more than anything else. I'm pretty satisfied with where I am 'now' in terms of any longer term goals and 2009 should see a fair few of those progress and grow (certainly on the publishing and events side of things).

I'm planning on doing my Top Tens of the year later and also take a look at the best of the Wargames, Board/Card Games and RPGs that were released over the last twelve months - as there have been some crackers this year.

I hope everyone has a good 2009. I'll certainly be interested to see how it turns out and where I'll be in twelve months time :p
