That's wonderful.

I've not seen any of the films or read any of the books but this summarises exactly how I imagine it to be, i.e. no bloodsucking, total female submissiveness - as is the Mormon way. Though I never bargained for vampire baseball.

My sister really likes them, I am going to have to get her Interview With The Vampire for Christmas...

Vampire baseball? Seriously? Outdoor *VAMPIRE* baseball???

Zombie baseball, sure. But non-bleedin' *VAMPIRE* baseball????

I gave up reading it - it was far too long and contained all sorts of clever sub texts and concepts I don't remember from the film. Then again, all I did while watching the film was fall asleep, so maybe I missed something. I only fell asleep because the strain of waiting for something to happen that I might not want to miss made me sleepy though. Ah - the cruel irony of it all - maybe there WAS some substance to the film after all?

I do recall the colour scheme/cast for the film was kinda nice.

My own summary - A nice greenish tinged story that felt sort of cold because of it and involved some kid going somewhere and going to school and falling in love with a sort of boring quasi vampire, filled with smouldering looks and sighs signifying nothing. Great for insomniacs.
