(Film) War of the Worlds - 19th Century

Yay! Finally a true rendition of H G Wells War of the Worlds seems to have been made. It'll beat the release date for Spielberg & Cruise's modern retelling of the story too!!!

Anyway, have to go now as my Indian's arrived and I'm damn hungry!

Oh hell.
I'm scared absolutely s**tless by the War of the Worlds (as littlecat would no doubt confirm). That's what you get for reading it when you're a small child. Scarred for life I was.

Hmm, they mentioned that their movie that's true to the book could be seen as a prequel to Hollywoods take on the story which (surprise surprise) will not be true to the book and set in a more modern setting. That would be interesting, though a pity that the bigwigs in the movie industry will probably just shut down the smaller production in favour or Tommy Cruise and friends.

Hey how long before there's a War of the Worlds RPG?

There already is a War of the Worlds RPG. It is published by Gold Rush Games for their 'Action' system. War of the Worlds is in the public domain so anyone can do anything with it.
