Scuppered

Tonights plans have been scuppered.

I was hoping (re: really looking forward) to going to Synthetic Culture again this evening but I've had a really hectic day a work combined with having a headache from hell all day 9and last night) that only dims slightly on painkillers.

Thus a night of thumbing music and loads of alcohol (etc) doesn't seem like a good idea. I guess it'll save me between £40-80 anyway so there is a silver lining in there (somewhere...).

Instead I'm going to go home (yes able reader I AM still at work...grrr...), have a relaxing bubble-bath and then settle down in front of the TV to watch Shaun of the Dead with Sarah whose coming over and also feeling a bit poorly. Then it'll be a relatively early night.

I'm hoping to be feeling a lot better tomorrow night and if I am I'll probably be making a trip down to The Dev in the evening and might end up at Strength Through Joy at Upstairs at The Garage. It's an old-style industrial club and sounds really good (not to mention it's run by a couple fo old friends).

Have a great night folks, I'm sure yours will be a hell of a lot more interesting than mine :p
