Penguin - hello!

Back Home and Diwali

Am home from my little trip to Germany. I actually got back home this afternoon but needed to relax/nap, soak, go hunter/gathering for food and then cook said food (and somehow watch episode 3 of Robin Hood - why do I do that to myself???) before jumping on here.

As it happens I'm not going to do much of an update right now. I'm too tired and have been contemplating going to bed for the best part of an hour! Don't seem to have managed to get much sleep over the last few days.

I was originally contemplating heading up to Leicester but (even if I didn't have a ton of things I need to do before Monday) I'm too tired to be any use. The last thing I want to do right now is to go out clubbing! I hope everyone has a great time up there though :)

Anyway, Diwali is in full swing round here. It's a five day Hindu Festival of Light which on it's third day (the day of the new moon) Hindu's celebrate it with loads of fireworks, amongst over things. We actually have more fireworks in my area on Diwali than we do at Guy Fawkes Night on November 5th.

Thus I'm not entirely sure I would go to sleep right now even if I opt for the comfy bed option. Still, no harm in trying I guess :p

Oh yeah, I've seen the trailer for Torchwood (Dr Who spin-off series that starts on BBC 3 tomorrow - Sunday - at 9pm) and it does look really good. I've actually put it in my diary and Outlook calendar in the effort to remember. I can't believe I'm actually psyched up for the launch of a new British Sci-Fi series!
