28 Weeks Later Trip - Moved to Saturday Afternoon!

We've had to shift our cinema trip on Saturday to 13:10 (that's 1.10pm :p) due to Rosie working some overtime on Saturday morning.

So, if we meet up at Finchley VUE (that's the one in NORTH FINCHLEY NOT FINCHLEY ROAD) at about 1pm that would be cool. I think we'er playing some boardgames afterwards (or atleast Rosie, Taryn, Hamish and myself are :p).

If people can let me know by this evening if they want to come I will buy tickets in advance. I'm sure there will be tickets available on the door for those last minute deciders but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow!

Voices of Masada to Cover DJ Bobo? ... and Eurovision Thoughts...

We (being Keyvan, Sean and myself) have decided that Sinbad and The Voices of Masada should cover DJ Bobo's "Vampires Are Alive" in their future sets :p

I reckon this would be a good thing. No, honestly.

Anyway, the Eurovision Song Contest is tomorrow night. The British entry will hopefulyl die a horrible horrible death and be humiliated (it's god awful).

Swizterlands DJ Bobo (which was heavily tipped to win) didn't make it through the Semi-Final stage last night. Actually a number of the favourites from the semi-finals failed to make it through with all 10 remianing slots going to Eastern European Entries. Many people are talking about block voting between Eastern nations but to be honest they also have some of the better songs (look at Bulgaria which is my favourite track this year -  Water by Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov - who qualified through the Semis :p).

It'll be an interesting night tomorrow. I reckon the winner will be from eastern Europe. Possibly Ukraine as they have a popular entry.

I'm crossing my fingers for Bulgaria though.
