Old Friend

Nice and tasty for a Monday morning...

....or not as the case may be.

I justr had the rather unusual and unpleasent experience of throwing up through both my mouth and my nose at the same time.

Not sure what brought that on as I was feeling absolutely fine before and not feeling particular bad post-experience either.

Hmm... oddness.

Maybe I have morning sickness...?

World Wide D&D Day - London Dungeons Event

(This has been in the works for a little while but we've not been able to say anything just incase it didn't come off. It has though and we're running events at The London Dungeons!  It'll be a late night but should be fun :p)
D&D fan in the London area? You are cordially invited to join us in celebrating Worldwide D&D Game Day at The London Dungeon! Leisure Games, in partnership with Wizards of the Coast and Esdevium, are hosting this special event, which promises to be one of the coolest WWDDGD events ever!

As at all WWDDGD sites, we’ll be featuring D&D games in a variety of formats (Three-Dragon Ante, Inn-Fighting, and DDM, as well as a ton of RPG play). In addition, we'll have snacks, drinks, and a general good time, all in a truly awesome dungeon environment.

Festivities kick off at 7:30 PM and run until midnight Saturday, 3 November. The London Dungeon is at 28 Tooley Street, SE1 2SZ, adjacent to the London Bridge tube station.

Admission is free, but, sadly, there's a limit to the number of people we can accept so you must sign up in advance. To sign up, contact Leisure Games at 020 8346 2327 or mike@leisuregames.com.

This is going to be a blast--sure hope we see you there!

New CDs - "Apocalyptica" & "Reverend And The Makers"

I've had a very good music day today.

This morning two new CDs arrived on my doormat and were waiting my arrival back from work.

First up was the new Apocalyptica CD "World's Collide" which is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see them in December :)

Next up was a new British band called Reverend And The Makers with an album called "The State of Things". I'd heard two or three of their tracks on MTV2 and really liked their sound and lyrics. I'm not sure what category I'd put them in - I guess it'd be Indie by default but then that's such a broad category and has pigeon-holed a bit in the last decade since Britpop. Anyway, I'm currently on track 10 of the 12 and can honestly say it's a fantastic album.

A great choice of two CDs if I do say so myself :p
