Earthquakes...

I guess it's fitting that all over the country (and over in Holland) people have felt the earth tremors and I'm wide awake and didn't feel a thing - even though some people did feel it in Reading and London. I know friends in Leicester and Cambridge felt it.

So, the earth hasn't moved for me this evening:(

Goodbye Books...

I've got seven decent sized boxes of books packed up and waiting downstairs to be collected by Louisa and Bug's father for his book stall on the South Bank. I've gotten rid of loads of books (softcovers, hardcovers, factual and fiction) yet it hasn't made much of an impact on the way my shelves look.

I'm going to do a second tour of them later - and also dive into some of the unopened boxes that I stored from the last time I moved, and try and clear out a whole bundle more. There are also a bunch of books I'm going to look at selling seperately to friends and then ebay - books which are either game related (like the old White Wolf & Dark Conspiracy novels) or have a cult following like many of the Cthulhu Mythos books I have.

Also have a few years worth of National Geogrpahic magazine that I'll probably be looking at rehousing if anyone is interested (to collect for free or to cover the postage) as well as a complete set of Unexplained Magazine and White Dwarf magazine from issue #1 to about #180 somewhere (probably won't just give those one's away though).

After they've been collected I need a shave and then getting ready to meet up with jessworld for lunch as she's over from SanFran for a few days :)

Then this evening it's the first of The Mission gigs - this one dedicated to The First Chapter with The Sisters of Murphy in support :)

Dead Guitars on stage at 7:30pm until 8pm

The Sisters Of Murphy on stage at 8:15pm until 8:45pm

The Mission performing 'First Chapter' in it's entirety and other faves on stage at 9:15pm until approx. 11pm
