Werewolf The Forsaken

This is mainly for Dave as he's been ringing me salavating all morning wanting to know if it's arrived.... well....

Werewolf The Forsaken has just arrived in-store along with some 'lovely' promotional WFT? t-shirts and dogtags for the different tribes.

Hmmm..... can I already hear the sound of little running Scottish feet?

:D

Surely White-wolf would want their ANST representative to have some of those lovely promo toys..?

In a complicated fashion I got one brought back from the US, which was then picked up for me by someone else, who is reading it now, and I'll get the copy that you guys are posting to him (because he couldn't be bothered to keep my US copy spotless)!

How about authors who happen to be kicking around? :)

I got my author's copies a week or so back. Dave's work is very appropriate for this iteration of Werewolf. Must check if he's directly illustrated ant of my stuff.

The Storytelling chapter and the spirit world appendix.

Nice, both very fine chapters. Though I'm a bit unsure how choirs/Descants interact with Courts which are mentioned from time to time, is a spirit court a regional grouping of a choir?

I don't think I can answer that - there was a whole section on the spirit courts in my origianal draft that hasn't made it into the final book. I'm not sure why - it could be that it will appear in a later book or that they've evolved the concept since I wrote that section.

Damn, I was looking to expand on the spirit courts for Britain for the Camarilla as they are mentioned in a couple of places and I was hoping to use them to introduce some political complexity into the national picture.

I'm sure we can sort something out for any of the 'authors' out there :p

So White Wolf have released a product which has the acronym WTF? I'm tempted to wonder if this is apt or not.

Y'know, those of us who write WtF exhausted all possible variations of the joke around 18 months ago. It's kinda painful seeing it all happen again...

If you've been on the white-wolf forums you'll see it come up about twice a day. Despite the fact it's been covered in a READ ME sticky thread. The only response left is:

"Yes, you're very clever."

Please forgive those of us that actually aren't roleplaying nerds and thus are now hearing this for the first time. Thankyou ;)

You expect me to forgive someone who is not a roleplaying nerd? But surely that makes you the enemy? :p

OK, sorry for over-reacting. But the joke did wear thin a long time ago.

Bwahaha I will destroy your puny Camarilla organisation. Bow before me, and all that.

Wayland's Forge has had its delivery of the game today. I bagged up a load and sold three, everyone expecting it to come in tomorrow.

As to promo material, the tee-shirts are nifty.
I wanted one and didn't get it.
Pooh.

Anyway, if there happen to be any of the game's authors reading this, I'll have a review of the game done by the end of the week.

You didn't get a t-shirt. That's workers rights that is. Go back and complain!

If you really want one I can probably send you one (as ironic as that would be) as we have loads of the damn things!

Workers Wrights?
North of Watford???

I do want a tee shirt, but only if you have one to spare.
And if so, or if not, the offer is very, very kind of you.
Most appreciated.

A wonderful touch to an otherwise dull day.

Re: Workers Wrights?
We have spares, don't worry. Not sure how many we've ended up with but I think we have about a dozen.

Drop me a line at work on Thursday (I'm off Weds) and I'll sort it out for you. Alternatively email me your address and I'll arrange it when I get to work on Thursday.

Take care.
