Why I Love Fantasy Flight Games....

Apart from Christian and co being really nice guys they've also snapped up two of my favourite boardgames to rerelease this year.

Just spotted that they've announced Britannia 2nd Ed and Fury of Dracula (previously by Games Workshop). They are also rereleasing Warrior Knights which is another old GW classic but which I never got round to presonally playing. Their new Marvel Heroes Strategy Game looks really interesting too.

Mayfair Games are also releasing a 3-D Special Edition of Settlers of Catan (which is quite possibly my FAVOURITE boardgame - certainly top 3) to celebrate the games 10th anniversary.

It's shaping up to be another great year for the board games sector of the market, and another expensive one for me. Especially as Hasbro are rereleasing Roborally, Monsters Menace America, Great Dalmuti and Guillotine (as well as some new titles!).

Makes having a dedicated board games night a distinct possibility again :p

They're re-releasing old GW games? What's the odds that I'll never see Battlecars again.

I love Britannia, I may have to pick up a copy :)

The 3-D settlers looked gorgeous (they had a display with several of the tiles at GTS)... it would go on my X-mas list if I celebrated X-mas...

You were missed :(

*You were missed :(*

Thanks. I missed the show too. Like you I really enjoy the socialising aspect of it. Shame to hear there wasn't really any 'chill' space at The Riveria. I used to love sitting around The Alligator Bar or Madri-Gras at The Orleans chatting the night away :p

I guess I'll either catch you at genCon Indy if I go or Essen.
