Hitch-hikers, Popes, Muppets, and Showdowns.....

Right, I have to be up in less than three hours to catch a taxi to the airport so this will be short and simple :p

Saw Hitch-hikers Guide this evening and it is a disappointment. It has some amusing bits in it but overall trying to fit the series into a couple of hours just doesn't work. Also, something was just lacking in the whole thing. I'm not sure what it was but maybe after dwelling on it for a while I'll figure it out. School Report: C-

In heading to Vienna for the weekend (yay!) with Maggie. First time for both of us in Austria so fingers-crossed we enjoy it. Have found a couple of clubs that we might end up in. More likely to be The Monastry on Saturday night though as I reckon I'll be too tired to go out clubbing tomorrow with such an early start and the prospect of only a couple of hours sleep looming.

Hoping to take pictures and will update the photo album if I do.

Had a series of vivid dreams again last night. Was fun but very weird. I saved the pope from assassination by the devil, walked across water by trading on floating mattresses only to end up swimming with a load of Japanese people and then helping them up a big ladder where muppets were waiting at the top to pull them over and then had a very big superhero/villain fight in some city with TV helicopters getting in the way and a very, very cute platinium blonde woman in a suit walking with both of us (the hero and villain) through an office block so we could fight in an open space to prevent too much collateral damage. The pope one had a whole story with it and also involved Monty and Sue (a very old girlfriend of mine) which I may recount at somepoint if people really want to know about it (and I get time after I return).

Anyway, have a great bank holiday weekend UK-folks and everyone play nice!!
