FOR THE LOVE OF GOD . . . . . . WASH!!!

Good news - we are all still alive.

Doors are open, cold breeze is flowing and air freshner has been activated....

Bad news - we were visited by one of the smelliest EVER people in the shop. I know I sometimes rant about some gamers needing to wash but this person wasn't even a gamer and HE STANK! We're not sure if it was generally lack of hygiene (but he certainly lacked that) or if he had actually cacked his pants earlier in the day and was letting it dry out.

You don't know how sick we feel.

Blah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sympathize with that. I truly do. I wasn't working at the place but, at least at the time, I was a regular. When these two guys came in, I looked at the shop owner with eyes wide in terror, and the shop owner looked back, scared the other customers would soon run across the street to the McDonald's. They spent ten minutes scouring the anime rack for hentai (I can only assume) and, failing to find it, they left to asphyxiate the Mr. Hero employees next door with their stank.

Re:
Yuk.

On another note - you're attending GAMA this year aren't you? Will Key20 be having a stand or are you wandering free and fancy?

Re:
Yes, I will be at GAMA. (I can't believe that's in less than a month.) Key 20 will indeed have a booth.

Scanky unwashed customers are the worst.

I used to work at John Menzies, this woman would come in every week and we'd all want to heave. We had to hold our breath when she was anywhere near the counter. What made it worse was she always asked stupid questions and then you'd have to breath. It was rancid.

We used to keep an air freshener behind the till specially for her

Re:
Our air freshner is now running very low. It is actually fairly rare we need to use it on customers (or rather after they've left ;-p) but there are a few stinkers out there who seem to migrate through every so often.

Probably not as bad as this but we had a teacher at translators' school who had body odour problems (not due to lack of personal hygiene, I think). Nobody would sit in the first row, it was that bad.
How his fiancee coped, nobody knows...

When I was 17 I had a summer job in a school uniform shop. Believe me, it's far worse when the customers are nine years old and haven't discovered deodorant yet!
