Had fun this evening with Seth and Dom playing a few games.
First up was 'La Strada' by Mayfair Games. I think we may have missed something but the game was 'ok' without being really much to think about or write home about. Not one I could reccommend and not one I'll probably play again (or at least for a long time).
Next up was Atlas Games 'Dungeoneer: Vault of Fiends', followed by 'Dungeoneer: Dragons of the Forsaken Desert' because we enjoyed it so much. The Dungeoneer series is a fun, fairly quick, fantasy adventure quest game. Your character needs to complete three quests to win the game (or kill off the other players). You fight monsters, collect treasures and explore the terrain. Glad I finally played this as I've had the game since before Atlas took over publishing it a few years ago. Each set stands alone or you can combine them to make longer games. Great fun and certainly one for repeat plays.
Right, that's it. Have headache and am going to bed. Glad this evening was fun as today has had me in a really weird mood. Hope that changes soon. Oh, I also booked tickets to go and see Charlie & The Chocolate Factory on Friday night. It was a close call as I also wanted to go and see Zombina & The Skeletons play as they're in London. But Burton and Depp have won out.
