Met up with mooncadet dredd_bob kit_hartford and weaselbitch this evening for a trip to see Howl's Moving Castle. For starters the Phoenix in East Finchley on Mondays is only £4 which was a very nice surprise! Following on from that the film was very enjoyable. Full of magic, wizards, fire demons, scarecrows, flying steam battleships, steam driven cars and coaches and little dogs. I think the animation was better than in Spirited Away but I think I still preferred Spirited Away's storyline and general ambience.
Minor complaint goes to the not-so-comfy seats that The Phoenix has. Howl's is about two hours long and for anyone thinking of seeing it at The Phoenix (or any film of length) I'd suggest taking a cushion - and if you're tall possibly taking an isle seat :p
School Repoer: B+ (Fun for all the family!)
