Ooooh, All About Eve... I'm a HUGE fan of them. They haven't had anything new out for a while since their live CDs have they?

As far as I'm aware they have done the following albums:

All About Eve
Scarlet & Other Stories
The Best of All About Eve
Fairy Night Lights Volume 1
Fairy Night Lights Volume 2
Live and Electric at the Union Chapel
Acoustic Nights
Winter Words, Hits and Rarities
Return to Eden Vol. I
Live At Brixton
Touched By Jesus
BBC Live In Concert

A number of the above are live performances though. The list was compiled courtesy of Amazon.co.uk where all of the above are currently available.

I've not actually brought an All About Eve album in sometime so don't know what order they should be in, sorry.

Show off :P.

I don't have Iceland, Acoustic Nights, Return to Eden Vol 1, or Cinemasonic. Or unplugged. Or Live At Brixton. Er. Are some of those live albums bootlegs? Some of those aren't listed on http://www.julianneregan.net/ (I have 3 live albums of theirs. I think that's enough to get an idea ;)).

Some stuff you may not know of:

I've got the Mice album - that's great. Well worth getting if you're an AAE fan. YOu can get that from the aforementioned website
(here: http://www.julianneregan.net/html/mice/newAndImproved.htm )

I also have the very odd cover version of Marianne Faithful's "Broken English" that Schaft did with Julianne on vocals. It's really strange - I think they're a wacky Japanese arty band, but they sample what sounds like part of Hitler's speech from the Nuremberg Rally in it! It's quite a good song though, and Julianne does her usual amazing job singing it.

I think I have Iceland but am not entirely sure. I don't think the other live albums are bootlegs, they seem to be readily available on amazon through some label or other.... They could possibly be imports though? Not sure.

I have the Mice album and went and saw them at their first London gig way back when. Whilst Mice are an alright Indie band they haven't got anything on All About Eve imho. I'm glad to see Julianne and co back together, touring and bringing out the occasional new song or two.

The last time I saw them was about three/four years ago supporting The Mission. AAE had just recently reformed and I wasn't as impressed with them as I had been when I saw them in the late 80's through to mid-90's. Some energy seemed to be missing. I want to see them again though as my all accounts they have improved since they've been back on the road and recording again. Guess I'll find out later this month :-)
