(Domestic) Defrosting

I know I should know how do this but it's never come up before (the joys of always moving I guess).

Our freezer needs defrosting. How do I do it?

Do I just swicth the whole thing off and let it flood everywhere? Do I do something else?

You know kids, sometimes being an adult isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I may have to ring mummy tomorrow for assistance.

Also some freezers have a drip tray or channel wher the watter will run, so you might catch som water there. Another bit of advice, give it a good scrub out once defrosted. it may stink badly after all the ice has melted.
