GigMania IX: M

Realised that the last GigMania post I made was back in June, and I'd only gotten to 'L'.

To remedy this I've decided to get back on track and post my M's. There's quite a few of them too, but my personal highlights are probably The Mission, Marilyn Manson, Merry Thoughts, Misery Loves Company, Mogwai and Moloko. Actually quite a few of theM's were very good. Although it appears I've seen The Manic Street Preachers four times I'd like to justify this by saying that I thought they were pants every time and I only saw them because in the late 80's/early 90's they seemed to support pretty much everyone going. Anotehr disappointment was Massive Attack, but I think I caught them on a bad night which was a shame.

Anyway, I give you....

hmmm edieval babes....
they played croydon only a few montsh ago as well, as part of some uber witchcraft festival at the fairfield halls. I woudl have gone, but I couldn't' a get anyone who does'nt scoff at the idea of pagananisim to come along.

To be fair though, my circle of friends also scoff at most organised relision so it's not as if they are picking on the ppagans

Witchfest 2005. I thought about going and then forgot it was on. Shame as the band line-up was quite good and t would have been nice to catch up with some old friends. I used to help out (many, many years ago) at the fore-runner to the Wichfest Convention back in the early 90's and knew several of the people that went on to become organisers of this event.
