2006: Day 1

Last night was restful. Jade (one of my housemates) ended up staying in too so we just chilled out watched a bit of telly and then watched "The Devil's Rejects" - the sequel of Rob Zombie's "House of a 1,000 Corpses".

I quite enjoyed the film on the whole. It had some very good dialogue and one-liners in placers which I'm going to have to go back to and try and remember :p

It wasn't anywhere near as weird as the first film and parts of the continuity were defintely 'shifted' for the sequel. Also Matthew McGrory (who plays Tiny) died after filming this which brought an added sense of sadness to the scenes that he appeared in. For those that don't know McGrory was the 7'6" actor who appeared most notably in "Big Fish" but was in a host of films and TV shows due to his size.

Anyway, hello 2006! Let's see what you have in store for all of us.....?

Well for starters I'm not making any resolutions as such but I am setting myself a few goals. Business and publishing goals aside this year I'm intending on taking some more driving lessons and wrapping up my drivers license once and for all. I'm also going to aim to visit at least one country that I've never been to before (maybe more depending on finances and available time) and I'm going to go to have hypnotherapy for both my fear of needles/injections and also maybe to stop smoking altogether. I'm certainly intending on cutting my smoking right back in anycase.

not making resolutions is the best idea...
they just set you up for a fall. Horrid things.

happy new year!

Hypnotherapy is awesome, totally changed my life, can HIGHLY recommend. Let me know if you'd like my therapists details!

Where was yours based? I have a friend who used one in Finchley so their favourite if he can find their details. If he can't though I am certainly prepared to travel if I know the hypno is reliable. Cheers

Not too bad. If you can text/email me the details (address/contact number/rates if you have them) I'll keep them on record. If I don't get details of the Finchley-based therapist in the next couple of weeks I'll contact the Paddington one.

Thanks again :)
