Where is the Life?

Sorry for not updating properly recently. To be honest not a lot has been happening which is why I've been a bit quiet. My life has been consumed by Civ4 (I've had a couple of nights this week where I've gone to bed at 6am and 8am respectively due to playing the damn thing all night....this is why I NEVER usually play PC games folks. I can hit a good one and get very addicted...haven't touched it today as yet though - glances over at laptop - although I think it's only a matter of time).

Having a 'house night in' tonight as both the girls are home today. We'll be ordering out for some grub and watching 'The Wall' which neither of them have ever seen! This amazes me but then again I guess it's partially down to a generation thing. Anyone over 30 will no doubt have seen it many times! I even studied it at school as part of my social sciences lessons.

Got a Collide DVD in the post today - which is great. It's a live show plus a few videos and additional footage/interviews, etc. I really do love Collide and wish they'd play more often - or even come over to the UK for a date or two :(

Also got a couple of Hocico CD's ("Signos de Aberracion" and "Wrack and Ruin") and the "Celebrate the Machines" 10th Anniversary Compilation which contains a variety of artists including Blutengel, Icon of Coil, Combichrist, Hocico and Decoded Feedback.

I am currently searching for motivation. I am will to trade two sheep for it.

Am looking forward to Saturday as I have a few friends coming over at lunchtime for a day of games. We're even playtesting a new game for another company (woo-hoo!) which I have to read the rules and make the pieces for before then (something to do on Friday night I guess!). Hopefully been of assistance to a very close friend who's going through shit, and would love to be of assistance to another friend who is currently very depressed if they'd let me be.

Beyond that. Civ4.

Where is my life?
