Er, I'm sure I shouldn't be doing this....

I'm sure I said somewhere I wouldn't post this.....

Make a comment...

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll name something we should do together.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If you do this, you must only pass along these livejournal quiz things if you feel like passing them on, never because the text requires you to pass them on.

(Depending on deluge - or lack thereof - I may take a while to reply to every one*)

*did you like my get out clause? :p

Re: A response...
You is who??? :p

1. Taste in music :)
2. Rocky Horror Picture Show
3. Recreate the GenCon Camba Sands party in the Nightfall Chalet from 1993! :p
4. Are you sure this is just cider? (Probably only relevant to me - but I have very few recollections of the party or its aftermath....and I'm sure it wasn't just cider...)
5. GenCon 1993, meeting you at the Nightfall Stand.
6. "I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey." - The Criminologuist, Rocky Horror Picture Show
7. What did you do directly after leaving Nightfall/WotC?

Re: A response...
He he, maybe not so much now but at the time, the Rocky Horror Picture Show is pretty accurate... :)

I actually have photos of the party in the chalet - kipper tie anyone???

Definitely remember the cider, have photos of that too...

Well, obviously, I chose not to move to London with WotC which was an option for me and looked elsewhere in Glasgow. I pretty much had a few crappy jobs/employers for a couple of years at the Uni of Glasgow and another dull place called the Licensing Centre doing marketing before settling down in a company called Newstel for a few years (communications - live and automated). I did everything from call centre manager to voicing Steam Engine and Horoscope lines, he he he. It was really fun. A very similar environment to WotC, friends and family, loads of pissed nights out. Unfortunately, the company took different directions and I was made redundant after about 6 years.

Now, I work as a paralegal in a solicitor's office, complete and utter departure! Property is my game, remortgages are my aim! (Just made that up there.)

A strange journey indeed...
