Election Leafleting

As I'm sure you all know we've got council elections coming up at the beginning of May. With this in mind I was wondering if any of the Finchely/Barnet crowd would be interested in joining me for a leafleting campaign on behalf of the Liberal Democrats?

The LibDems won a council by-lection at Christmas in barnet and are looking at capturing a number of other council seats this time round too.

If anyone's up for joining me one evening (or more!) please let me know and we'll arrange things. The target area will be in Barnet (more likely High Barnet).

Cheers! :)

Depending on when exactly, I might be up for this - and assuming you only mean leafleting, not actually knocking on doors and talking to people (that kind of stuff I'm not very good at, and suspect I would do the party no favours at all).

I see from the local paper that the Tories are planning a big blitz around the area of the seat they lost in December, so I'm all in favour of helping the current incumbent.

My mobile number and new home number are on the friends-locked post I made on Thursday last week. Or you could get my other half to mail you my work e-mail address (I make it policy never even to hint at where I work anywhere online - having seen the grief one friend got himself into).

Oh, I'm sure you could trust me to deliver LD leaflets ; )

I take it the 'crisis of faith' over your party ties has been resolved now then?

: P

Actually, spent most of the weekend canvassing and leafletting for 'em, but as my ward councillors are mates as well, it's not so bad.

And if it's Tories you're gunning for, then happy hunting!
