I'll get round to doing an overview of the Wireless Festival at somepoint. Maybe after the weekend when I've been to the last date I have tickets for.

But for now I'd just like to say that spending an evening with DJ Shadow mixing the tunes is a damn fine way to spend it. Especially when you had Mr Marley's youngest, Damian, on stage beforehand keeping his dad's spirit alive.

I was also introduced to Canadian band Metric today whom I'm going to have to now track down and purchase.

On the downside I came home and found out that The Astoria has been sold off to property developers so I guess we could be waving goodbye to another London music venue in early 2007! :(

Oh, I'm also still a complete idiot. When a charming young lady comes up to you in the middle of the gig, cuddles you, and says she's going to go outside for some fresh air I really think you're supposed to follow her out of the marquee...

No wonder I'm single. I'm completely oblivious!!!

"Retail outlets, flats and offices" just what London needs, more bloody empty offices and "investment opportunity" flats which either sell for a fortune or are bought to let.

Ya know, if a charming young lady did that to me, I also wouldn't follow thinking it impolite, so you're not alone (though I'm not single, I just have an infamously crap love life).
