Dragonmeet Website Updated

Hi folks,

It's been a long time coming but I've just updated the Dragonmeet website with Ticket information as well as the list of Traders. There will be probably be 2-3 more traders confirmed within the next few days who had reserved space or are on the reserve list.

The Trade Hall sold out very quickly this year and we have a number of traders on our reserve who were too late in applying for a stand. This is both good and not so good.

I'm really glad we're popular and the stands are in demand but it does show that maybe we should start looking for a slightly larger venue next year.

Added to our reserve list I've been contacted by several American traders in the last 10 days wanting to come over next year - which again is great is we can fit everyone in!!!!

I'm hoping we'll have more details on this years games schedule up before too long and once I figure out what's wrong with the other 'sponsors' logos I tried to upload (they corrupted in transfer) I'll be adding White Wolf, Leisure Games, ProFantasy Software and Cubicle 7 to our sponsors section.

Best wishes,

Angus Abranson

I suspect the image files are being corrupt because the 'updload' is transfering them as text files rather than binary files. Binary files have no processing done on them, while text files do, hence the corruption. What you really need to do it get an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol) which will allow you far more control than the webapp.

is just such program (and is free)

Well I've got my ticket booked for the trip down so I'll see you then.

Not totally sure what my plan is yet.

PDF file
When I tried to download and view the PDF file of the games available on the day it crashed my PC (twice). Is it working for anyone else?

While I'm here - Angus, did you get those DVDs eventually?

Re: PDF file
The games PDF is for last year atm. The new one should hopefully be up in a week.

Andy P dropped off the DVDs at work, many thanks. Haven't had a chance to look at them yet though but will try soon. Thanks again :)

I assume IPR/the Collective Endeavour are one of those who did manage to get a stall? Do us traders/vendors still need to get tickets?

Can't wait til December! It'll be great fun!

The Coolective Endeavour are indeed down on the traders list. I've also got you marked down for Traders Badge already as Malcolm included your name on the booking form :p

Hurrah! That was one of the things I meant to talk to you about the other day when I failed to ring you, but glad it's sorted!

I'm at home (probably/almost certainly) tonight if you'd like to drop me a line?
