M'era Luna Festival

I know a number of you on my F-List have been to M'era Luna Fetsival in Germany before and was wondering what you thought of it?

How was the camping facilities and how easy is it to get to by train (I'd be flying into Germany if I went and then training it down from there)?

Thoughts? Memories? Etc...?

Wikipedia Entry (including Line Ups of past years which might explain why I'm thiking about it :p)

I've gone every year since 2002.

Camping is OK if you're into that kind of thing (there's showers, a few OK toilets on the site, etc), though some of us use a local guesthouse. Festival is well-priced for what it is, organised efficiently and not too hard to get to. Weather can be an issue (it's often either scorching or soaking) but if you can live with that, go. Plenty of Brits make the trip over nowadays.

Been twice, have co-ordinated with Steve & Co and stayed in the same guesthouse both times. It rocks. Travel wasn't something I worried about back then though, as I came with a coach load of Swiss goths :)

Fly to Hannover with BMI or Lufthansa - then train or taxi to Hildesheim, then either hotel/guest house in the area or camp.

both times i went it was good weather although frekking hot, very dusty and fantastic... however guest house is the route i took due to being a wimp re.camping and loos (i haev a fear of loos)
