Heroes, NIN, Hot Fuzz

Heroes Episode 3
I'm really enjoying this series. I won't say much about it as it's only up to Episode 3 on UK's Sci-Fi Channel and many of my friends list won't have seen it unless they have satellite/cable or have downloaded it from the web. Don't want to spoil it for you guys. Watch it when it hits BBC2 this autumn!!!
I particularly liked the end scene this episode :p

Been listening to a few of tracks from Nine Inch Nails forthcoming 'Year Zero' album. It sounds like it'll be a really good one and they've certainly done tons to build the support network up for it. I'm wondering how much they'll be previewing during the current crop of gigs. Guess I'll find out next week :p

Hot Fuzz

I saw Hot Fuzz on Saturday. It was good but not what I'd call great. I thought Shaun of the Dead was a much better film. Hot Fuzz certainly had loads of laughs and I did enjoy it, but I felt it was missing something. I really enjoyed the last 15 or so minutes though :p

Heroes is fantastic! You'll love where it's going.

I was the same opinion of Hot Fuzz. For me it was too slow with not enough pace until that last 20 minutes or so. Shaun of the Dead was much better.

NIN preview tracks?
Where be these musical morsels please?

Also HF was laughter in spurts, SOTD was non stop I think they are differnt but equally as good.

Heroes: It has ben given a second season greenlight in the states, so I'm not sure if that will imporve quality or not, but as somone who has seen up to episode 16, it stays GREAT, and as astounding as it seems from the first few eps, keeps getting better !

offtopic, I replied to your vampire book lj comment, shoudl i resend?

Re: NIN preview tracks?
NIN have showcased two of the tracks on their Myspace page so far. I think there's links to it from the Wikipedia entry.

re: Vampire Books. Might as well resend, or atleast tell me who you are so I can check :p

The new album has barely featured so far - only 'Survivalism' has cropped up. Apparently, they'll tour a second leg in the summer - presumably that'll have a lot of the album in.

Second leg! Cool :)

Also a second track (at least) has been previewed now. I was listening to two of the tracks last night in any case :)

I love the USB drives thing. I'd look for one one the barrier of Notts arena, but there'll be about a thousand people looking to beat me to it :)

It's a brilliant idea.

Just watched episode 17 of Heroes this morning. Lets just say my initial enthusing about the series was entirely justified.

Heroes is amazing, so much better than Lost at the moment that is defies comprehension. It has been showing in Brazil for ages and all my friends back home are addicted to it, so I had seen the first few episodes before the Sci-Fi premiere. Definitely worth watching!

Live in a small Yorkshire town and you will think Hot Fuzz is fantastic... I have lived in towns like that, and they ae full of masons and stragne clubs of people doing odd things.

I'm really liking Heroes, I didn't get the first episode and came in part way through the 2nd but I loved last night's ending, really hilarious.
