CD Printing & Cases

I'll have a look into this myself later but thought some of my LJ friends and readers might be able to propel me off to a head start when I do.

I'm looking at getting a number of CD-ROMs produced containing data (PDFs, etc) and was wondering if anyone knew of a good company to talk to (in the UK/Europe and/or US/Canada) who can produce booklets, case covers and printed fronts to the CD-ROMs themselves.

Answers and suggestions on a postcard to gratefully received :)

I was going to suggest the same as Pondy.

simonjrogers has some bloke who did all the covers for CC3. They were good value for money too if I remember rightly.

I'm not entirely sure at present. We wouldn't be looking for loads. Probably only about 100 of the core design and maybe 50 of about a further 6-10 designs.

It's not really the art I need. It's the printing aspect.

Cheers for the suggestion though :)

Last I looked into is, professional replication came in at a minimum of 400 units, and there are a dearth of outlets.

If you want to print the smaller numbers, a local printshop will do your inlays & booklets, and you can buy a lightscribe drive for your PC, or a small replicator...

Depends, would you be happy with paper fronts on the cds?

If so, you can get kits that give you a small machiney thing to do that, and the software to print the design you want off your own computer.
I'd have thought a small amount would be cheaper done that way.
My Dad recently put all of my parents music tapes, cds and old tv tapes onto DVD as they had thousands and they had to move countries. He did it all himself and put the cd labels on himself.
