Cthulhu Elder Wear...

Am amused.

I want to buy some for stock but not entirely sure if there's a market for them through the shop. Might be something for one of the side projects though :p

So anyone interested if I buy some?

Hello :)

They come in (US Sizes) 0, 1, 2, or 3. (I think thats S, M, L, XL after looking at some knicker conversion sites :/)

Full write up is here: http://www.cthulhulives.org/store/store.lasso?1=product&2=32784

If you want to drop me a line on angus@cubicle7.co.uk with the size you want and your contact details I'll get some in for you and we can work things out when they arrive. I'm not sure how much they'll be atm but I'm reckoning that after shipping and VAT they'll probably be in the £7.99 region (give or take a bit).

Ooh ooh, also, my boyfriend wants a thong...

Is there a close-up of the design anywhere? :D

There's a watermark thing across it but there is one over here.

I'm going to be selling the Occultist edition at Gen Con. Think it has a market?

It could have. I prefer the Oak Backed one myself and with under $20 difference I'm forking out the extra few notes for it.

I think most of the HPLHS range is good though so I suspect you'll do ok with the cooper plaques.

I actually know a couple of people who ought to get some of these and wear them inside-out!

I'm interested in knowing how far we are past the threshold wherein the amount of Novelty Mythos Merchandise eclipses the amount of non-Novelty Mythos Merchandise.

Novelty?

Yes. Also, that.

I didn't take it that way, because he said "non-Novelty Mythos Merchandise."

Humorous. Whimsical. Basically anything that gets comedy mileage out of the Mythos. Guessed through estimation of number of "serious" Mythos products brought out in a twelve-month period versus number of "comedy" products brought out over same period.

Sooo... the same design acid etched into a copper plate is serious, and the same design on a thong is comedy?

We're talking about seventy-plus year old pulp horror writing. In my eye, even the "serious" products are pretty funny. Funnier, in some ways.

Or to clarify a bit: when you said novelty, I thought (and I'm still not sure) that you mean vs. REAL Cthulhu stuff. Cthulhu = Not Real.

Oh, well now you've shattered all my cherished childhood dreams.

Sorry! I take it back. Cthulhu's real, but my tiny human mind cannot contain the endless, eldrich horror of the truth, so I make up for it by buying Cthulhu novelties. Oooh, and selling them, too.

It's no use - I've already failed my Sanity check and beheld Euclidean Horrors of which Man Was Meant To Know.
