Slinking into dark stalls
Shapeless and slumped in bath chairs
Furtive eyes peep out of holes
She has many guises
She'll do what you want her to
Playing dead and sweet submission
Cracks the whip deadpan on cue
Oh the trip down memory lane. I remember waiting at the record shop back in 1988 at the tender age of 16 for them to unpack the new Peepshow album by Siouxsie and the Banshees and rushing back home to play it.
I decided I wanted a change from my current playlist of Industrial, Ambient, NuRave and R&B that I have in the office and went hunting in the bedroom for old CDs and came across Peepshow. I haven't listened to the CD in a year or so if not more and all the memories of a 16-year old Angus are coming rushing back. It's a great album.
I've decided that on Sunday (as I have the day off and don't "believe" I have any plans apart from lunch with Chris) that I'm going to try and move out of the office and back into the bedroom. I started sleeping in the spare bed in the Office after Rosie and I split up and haven't managed to move back into the bedroom yet! This is more to do with the time to sort out bedroom than any psychological terror of sleeping in their without Rosie (I want to go through the piles of stuff there before I move even more piles of stuff back in there from the Office - as I need to clear the Office for Dave to move in arounf 23/24 August). Although I have gotten very used to sleeping in the spare room so moving back into the Master Bedroom of the house is going to feel odd to start with (although I'll have a far better bedside lamp which will be greatly received for my bedtime readings :p).
Anyway, talk about wandering off on a tangent! Siouxsie & The Banshees = Great Band. Peepsjow = Brilliant CD.
See, simple really wasn't it?
