I want a holiday.

Or atleast a week off work so I can be at home, relax and also get a ton of things sorted that I really need to be doing right now.

now the kick
instead of spending time with dave/jade/jasmina/whoever "flicking through MTV channels" get off your arse and do those things then.

As busybusybusy as you always were/are, I KNOW how long it takes you to get movitated to do anything once you've plonked your bum-bum down on that couch and have the remote in your hand.

Write a list, do the essentials instead of wasting 2 or so hours of your evening watching MTV2 etc...

It is true that when bum does plonk down on sofa it can be hard to get back up (mainly due to knackedness). Plus I also quite njoy chilling out with friends (see the above reference to relax) sometimes.

To be fair the last few weeks have been unusal in the fact they've been filled with additional days working (and longer working hours) due to Mike being on holiday, conventions and convention preparations, Dave moving in and me rearranging the office/bedroom so he had a room and then so I had space in my room, being ill (although I would have been away at Reading Festival if I hadn't been ill so that weekend wouldn't have become free anyway) and also trying to spend some time with new flatmate and friends.

I know my time management can suck though. I think the real thing I need to combat (which will help motivation) is general tiredness. Part of this could be helped with a better diet and also more exercise. We both know how well I succeed in getting either of those sported though :p

Still, I should stop complaining and get doing.

Check back on me this time in ten years and see if I've managed it yet! :p

Remove all Pizza takeaway menu from within 100 yards of your house!

I've been completely exhausted lately too - hence not being able to make it last night. My diet these days is very good but I don't get as much exercise as I was getting when I was with you guys due to the serious lack of clubbing & gigging, so I'm struggling to keep the weight off again. This definitely affects my energy levels when I get home.

I'm about to start fencing though - which doesn't need you to be super fit but does improve fitness. Have you thought about taking up something that's completely set apart from your LG/C7 life?

That sounds like a plan, but he'd probably need someone to drag him to it... at least for the first month or so.

I dunno, I think forcing yourself to do things on your own have a greater psychological benefit, at least for me.

ooh ooh - holiday - can I come? phlueeeeeeeeeze... (ok ok - I'm going to Calgary in like 3 weeks - but its a contest not a holiday!)
