Meetings this afternoon went very well. Actually found myself a lot more nervous about this second meeting than I did at the first (and Dom agreed with this too). I think it's because when we had the initial meeting we expected nothing to really come of it. The fact that we met with Mr Big and his right hand man and actually had a meeting that lasted 1.30hr to 2hrs and that it went so very well put us under a lot mroe pressure and expectation this time round. We shouldn't have actually worried though as Meeting #2 went very well too. Pretty much confirmed a number of things and just really have one point to clarify which involves geography. All being well we will have this wrapped up in the next 4-6 weeks and will have a nice announcement to make at Dragonmeet that will surprise/delight a lot of people. Who knows, we amy even have some demo games ready to play by then too as our "Man" has been busy writing away since the first meeting on the presumption that we were pretty much 'Green Lit' then :p
Still, not counting our chickens until ink has dried. Plus still ahve the geography angle to sort out.
Post-meeting Dom, Chris and myself found ourselves in Notting Hill for food and discussions about a variety of things. Cubicle 7's future plans, licensing deals, branding, Dragonmeet, and a whole host of other things. The next few years are going to be very interesting in a whole variety of ways :p
Anyway, home now and having an early night to rest my head and eyes. Speak to you all tomorrow! Night folks x
PS - Saw Heroes Season 2 Episode 1 and really enjoyed it. Both old and new characters shown so far have interesting plot points which have potential. Should really at somepoint do a Heroes post for people who have seen all of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 to talk about it in the comments to avoid spoliers for those who haven't watched them all as yet. The Premier of Bionic Woman shows in the US this evening so will watch that in the next few days (along with the first two episodes of Sarah Jane Adventures which will hopefully arrive tomorrow or Friday) . The Bionic Woman stars Michelle Ryan who played Zoe Slater in Eastenders for years. Andy, Dom and myself saw an extended trailer/interview with her before Stardust at the cinema on the States and the show looks like it could be pretty fun. I hope so as it'd be nice to see a young British actress do well in the States as well as having another successful 'genre' show on telly.
