Dragonmeet Update

Dragonmeet tickets arrived yesterday and are very PURPLE (not PINK despite Sean and Mike's amusement and conviction that they are :p). I'll have to scan one and post it up as they are, once again, lovely.

Seminar schedule is looking fantastic with some great speakers and panels. I'll be posting up the full list once 100% finalised but we have, amongst other things, Mike Mason from Black Industries talking about Dark Heresy RPG (Warhammer 40K), Gareth Hanrahan holding a Q&A about Mongoose's new Traveller game, a Q&A and chat about the Cubicle 7 Secret Project which is being announced at the show held by line developer and chief writer Dave Chapman with probably Dominic or myself also involved, plus special guests Jared Sorensen, Luke Crane, John Kovalic and Fred Hicks will be involved in various discussions.

Plus I have just been told we're going to have a copy of the Dark Heresy RPG in the Charity Auction which is massive enws as it isn't due for release for another few months! I'm going to have a horrible time trying not to blow all the money that I don't currently have buying that one!

Counting down those days...

Angus

Indeed looks like another very busy day.
Definitely looking forward to both the day and seeing lots of friends again.

In the meantime, when do the tickets go on sale?

Leisure Games is selling tickets now :)

Tickets will be up on the Dragonmeet website (hopefully) this weekend as I'm blitzing stuff and getting things over to Neil tonight/tomorrow morning for the revamp.

Frantically preparing for it here, not launching the new release, still a couple of months to go there, but it's going to be the first demo game I've run using the special "dragons as player characters" rules and I want to make sure that everything works properly.

Can I strongly but constructively encourage you to put all this up on the DM website, along with the date and times in a sticky post preferably involving letters of fire, and then put a link in this post?

We're intending to. It would be there now but 123-reg is havign a DNS (?) problem at the moment and many of the websites are down - Dragonmeet & Cubicle 7 ones included.

Hopefully the problem will sort itself out later today and we'll have things online and properly sorted by the end of the weekend.

I'll try to make it to DM this year, however it lands the day after the theatre. So might be a bit hecctic.

I hope that you will quickly post details of the cubicle 7 stuff on the boards as I can't come all the way down to dragonmeet. one of the few downsides of not living in London anymore!
