Facebook Photos

Uploaded a load of photos on Facebook. A mixed bunch from the Angusverse. Many as a mini-me, various of an older more hairy me and a few Vegas scenic shots from my 2004 trip.

I'm aiming to fill it up further once I've either downloaded various things from cameras and/or phones on to the computer or (in many cases) had the time to scan them in.

I love Live Journal for the Blogging and ease of reading others Blogs aspects but Facebook beats it in so many other ways.

Even with the Russian takeover of LJ (Hello our new rulers!) I wouldn't stop using this as my primary blog. Too easy to you. too many friends and too many posts to export elsewhere if I wanted to leave! :p

I'm happy playing with both LJ and FB as they both offer different qualities.

yeah after not understanding FB for a while - its great for events and photos, lj for keeping touch, blooging and keeping up with whats going on etc

One reason I'm not uploading my own photos to facebook is that you basically give them rights to do whatever with them. Any photo of the internet is fair game but if I have copyright, I can at least shout at whoever takes them.
Another reason is that very few (3 or 4?) facebook friends aren't on LJ. It's not big at all in Germany so I haven't found anyone from my school/uni days yet but I'm hoping.

I don't really get Facebook. I have one, but the only thing I use it for is to play Scrabble with freinds. Someone once described it to me as 'a grown-up version of MySpace'. but I find it just as annoying, espcially when people keep sending me 'Zombie attacks' and 'sloppy kisses' and 'wanting to hold my hand'. WTF? I don't spend enough time being bored on a PC to want to waste my time with it!

Yeah, Facebook would be great if I could opt-out of all those stupid "invites" I keep getting.

And I wish I'd kept my profile totally private and unfindable, because I now have a ton of "friends" who barely qualify as "people I met".
