Jade cooked a Gammon Roast for the two of us which we then ate in front of the telly chatting to Dave and watching pap on TV. Watched a sho on BBC3 (I think) about 'Sex and Your Parents' which looked at a couple of families who were having parent/kid problems with a sex psychologist there to help out.
To start with we thought it was going to be really bad but it ended up being a pretty interesting show. The 18-year-old girl who met random blokes off chat rooms for unprotected sex (about 20 in the last three months) was a bit worrying but by the end of the show her communication problems with her mother seemed to be largely resolved and she seemed to be becoming a lot more settled. The other case was of a young chap (19 years old I think) who had a big attitude problem with women and his mother. Listening to him talk when with his mates or out on the town he came across as a right wanker who treated women and sex as something to be used for his own pleasure and he was a self-confessed sex addict. Or atleast he was until later in the programme he admitted he'd actually only had sex once. Again the sexologist really seemed to help the family and you could see the changes in the kids attitude to the extent that by the end of the show he was coming across as a really nice guy who you were hoping would get the girl he'd become interested in and whose entire attitude had seemed to have changed.
We decided not to watch the 'Kill It, Cook It, Eat It' program which basically had a studio audience watch the entire process of seeing the calves, watching the abatoir process (the studio was attached to the abatoir) and then having the veal cooked up and served to the audience for dinner. Jade was a bit squeamish over the idea of the show and to be fair it didn't really interest me too much (neither Dave nor Jade initially believed me when I told them what the show was about so I obviously had to show them part of it to prove I was making it up! :p).
Anyway, a nice restful evening with my housemates. I should have really been working but a night off is good for the soul and all that.
Hope everyone in LJ land is having fun and to catch you soon!
