South American War

So, Venezuela and maybe Ecuador vs Colombia then.

Venezuela have moved ten battalions to Colombia's border, including troops and tanks, called Colombian President Alvaro Uribe a 'criminal', closed their embassy in Bogota and withdrawing all embassy staff and told Colombia that if they make any incursion into Venezuelan territory it will be a 'cause of war'

Ecuador have protested to Bogota calling their incursion into Ecuador 'scandalous'  whilst Venezuela said it 'flagrantly violated Ecuador's sovereignty'.

All this comes from Colombia's successful operation to eliminate Raul Reyes, a leader of FARC, who had a camp a mile or so inside Ecuador's border on Saturday.

Now whether or not Venezuela will actually do anything against Colombia is another matter as Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez does like to talk lots and be controversial.
