The last few days at work have shattered me. Having two new Dark Heresy book releases is certinly something to make you happy you have a holiday coming up. It's been busier than Christmas here with all the orders and deliveries. The poor postman must hate us now...

But anyway, shattered as I am 'll be at The Dev for about 9pm and then heading to Inferno sometime between 10.30-11pm. I doubt I'll last the whole night there though. I'm walking around The South Bank and Tate Modern tomorrow after sorting out some stuff at home so I'll need a rest. Can't rest too much though as I need the practice and exercise for all the walking nd hiking I'll be doing in 8 days time.

Holiday wise we're not now going o the Isle of Man as between plane fares and accomodation it was too expensive for Jasmina. Instead we're off to a village near St Austell in Cornwall for lots of walking through moors (Beast of Bodmin and Stone Circle spotting), along cliff tops and beaches, visits to The Eden Project and Tintagel Castle plus some relaxing at the cottage I've hired for a week (which has a pool table in it :D).

Should be fun and hopefully the weather will be good (I can't believe it's warm and sunny here in London today yet we're being told to prepare for snow on Sunday!!!???)/

Anyway, have a great weekend folks and talk to you all soon!

I am seriously jealous... I love Cornwall!

If the cottage is nice I might get you to pass the details of it on to me. I could do with a holiday!

I've been to just about every significant and noteworthy neolithic site in Cornwall and Devon. It makes for a really interesting holiday. Watch out for leyline spotters! They're always good for a laugh.

I'm trying desperately to remember the name of the church but there's one in Cornwall with some of the oldest original wooden pews in the country and they retain some pagan imagery - like the horned god - in amongst the saints and all the rest. If you can find that it's worth a look, very Clive Barkeresque.

Googled around but couldn't find reference to that specific church, although this site looks interesting if you don't already have it bookmarked...
