German Starblazer PR

Hi,

Can anyone (Ozzy? Nicole? Toos? anyone?) possibly give me a quick translation of the German text in this article:  http://www.rollenspiel-almanach.de/starblazer-adventures/18-07-2008/

Many thanks,

Angus

Babelfish still hasn't improved. Oh well, just as well or I'd be out of a job soon...

Thanks for the Babelfish translation. Still takes some deciphering but certainly gives the general jist of it :)

Rough translation:

Inspired by the comic book Starblazer Adventures, Cubicle 7 brings another role-playing game to the market. A preview is now available, and the illustrations make you want to see more, as does the rest of the 40-odd page PDF. The rulebook features three complete world descriptions including over 200 planets, alien races, monsters and ships, as well as plot and planet generators and 400 illustrations from the comic books. The page count on the PDF suggests that the rulebook could have about 620 pages - that's a lot of wood!

(they then go on to talk about the FATE rules system and the comic books...)

Hope this helps! :)

"Inspired by the Comic Starblazer Adventures, Cubicle 7 bring another RPG setting onto the market. For this purpose, we can marvel at a preview. The illustrations alone and the rest of the 40 page PDF make us want more. The rulebook will contain 3 complete worlds with over 200 planets, alien races, monsters and ships; plot and planet generators and 400 illustrations from the comic. From the PDF we can see that the whole thing will have almost 620 pages. That's a lot of stuff! The Rock´n Roll Space Opera will be powered by the wicked Fate system, a Fudge variant, which is also used in Spirit of the Century by Evil Hat, who are responsible for Fate as a motor. Starblazer used to be a British comic magazine from 1979 to 1991. A pure SF mag at first it later contained more and more Sword & Sorcery stories."
