Thoughts?

I know it's probably a quiet Sunday for most of you... indeed most of you won't probably be checking LiveJournal or Facebook today (there's always a big drop in posts and comments at the weekend - makes me wonder if most of you check this at work...hmm...? ;p).

I'm at work today. Taking a few minutes out now for a drink and a stretch befroe returning to my order forms.

Anyway, I was just wondering what you're thinking? What's on your mind?

A virtual penny for your thoughts?

I have just woken up from sleeping after my last nightshift for a little while. Glad to be off the placement area i've been on, and feeling strangely content, knowing that i'm off to see some friends later.

By the way - want to meet up next week?

Trying to work out how I'm going to cram:
* writing a 200-page book
* writing two con scenarios
* A convention
* Moving house
* Taking care of family stuff
* A webcomic and assorted ventures
into the rest of the month.

I am mostly thinking about matters of the heart (gleefully racing and skipping beats), my tendency to explore and absorb the interests of people I like (today's absorptions being Charlie Brooker and making risotto) and why evolution would design an organ as monstrously painful as my uterus.

worth a penny? Methinks not.

All the things I need to get done since we have been on vacation this weekend and now there are things waiting at home to do.
I'm also thinking that they will wait until tomorrow.
I think I want to go play my Wii.

I'm thinking that the play-test of Fallen went well, even though there was just the two of us doing it. It highlighted what we suspected already could be issues and unearthed a couple of other ones.

Now I'm thinking I can't believe its still a howling gale out there and I really should go to bed sometime soon so I can face the pharmacy students in the morning without wanting to kill them all.

Most of today has been spent knitting a sweater I'm working on so I won't have to think about the huge change I'm about ot make to my life in the next couple days.

At the moment, my thought is: What's the status of the Doctor Who rpg? :)

I am simply amazed at the power of stress, wishing there was an opposite.

I've been reviewing the situation, and I think I'd better think it out again.

Thats dangerous. For some reason at any one moment in time I could be thinking quite a lot of odd creative ideas - they just spew at me faster than anyone could possibly process them. Right now its a mix of an odd creature from a dream (a cross between a squirrel and a lizard) and if I should draw it, some spin-off game related stuff to do with rpgs (Im in the middle of preparing a test play of a system I have been working on for years), contemplating an urge to paint with real gooey stuff rather than virtual, wondering if I will get my new dvd writer soon (the old one went and failed on me), organising ways to back up/remove around 300GB of misc stuff on my PC when it does, pondering a LJ post I just read about snow (I love snow) and feeling a bit down over the economy and-oh, my minds moving on again...

I wonder if I create art because it slows me down when I concentrate on it?
