So the current question is "Do I really want to see Twilight and/or Defiance tomorrow?".

Or should I spend my morning doing other things that need doing?

Both films intrigue me for different reasons but I'm not entirely sure I really want to see either of them at the cinema.

Has anyone seen one? the other? Both?

What did you think? Worth me checking one of them out?

I know some of you hated Twilight (the larger majority by the sound of things) whilst some of you loved it. I almost went and saw it a couple of weeks ago but decided against it at the last minute for some reason.

Alternatively I could just have a nice restful lie-in. Something I've not done for a long old time.

I'll pop back here when I wake tomorrow and see if they is any concensus and then make my mind up.

Night night people!

I'm going to go check oot Defiance soon, I think.

Twilight has little/no appeal for me... though I'm sure I'll watch it once it hits DVD. I envision it as Eragon for vampire nerds.

Well, I have a cineworld card, so when I have the time I don't mind taking a chance on a film, so I've seen Twlight. I went into it expecting a mildly entertaining teen angst film type thing with maybe some cool cinematography and actually came away thinking: "Hey, that wasn't actually so bad, considering."

Now, whether or not you should spend your hard-earned money seeing it in the cinema or not, is kind of between you and your bank balance. I haven't seen Defiance yet (hopefully I'll find time to see it in the cinema). I have, however, that it might prove to be the more fulfilling of the two, though if you see them both perhaps you can comment on their comparative silver screen nutritional value.

My (male) comapnion came out of Twilight saying he was slightly embarrassed to have stumbled into chick porn.

It sort of is chick porn. But don't let that put you off.

Ok, ok I'll admit when we saw it. It was for free.

Anyway, Twilight. I actually enjoyed it and would'nt mind seeing it again.

I haven't sen Twilight, nor have I read the books, but I live with a woman who has done both, and now she's scarred for life. Spare yourself similar mental scarring and avoid the fake-Forks! (We live perilously close to Forks, and it's nothing like the place shown in the film...among other things...)
