SLA Industries is apparently real....

Or atleast according to a business website that sent me an email this morning letting me know they've given us a free listing!

This email is to let you know that Sla Industries has been listed on Hotfrog, your U.K business directory. HotFrog U.K gets over 4.4 million page views every month*, and is designed so that our business and product listings regularly get the best position in the major search engines results on sites like Google and Yahoo!

Your listing details are –
Sla Industries

London N3 1XW

Couple of things wrong there - apart from not being a real life company I - nor anyone connected with the SLA IP ownership - has ever lived at postcode N3 1XW! I've lived in other N3 postcodes but never ending in 1XW.

Our listing appears here....

My reply...

Dear Hotdog,

Please can you remove the listing for SLA Industries on your website. It is a fictional company for the role-playing game SLA Industries that we publish – not a real life company.

Many thanks for removing this and keeping the integrity of your site based in the real world and not fiction.

Yours Sincerely,

Angus Abranson
