I'm then going to be staying in London during the week until the end of March for work. The first weekend after we move (14th/15th) I'll probably also be in London because we have Concrete Cow on the 14th and then Gameforce on the 15th.
Thus I won't actually be living in my new flat for atleast two weeks after I move.
Dave leaves to go and work in the States for a month on 15th March. He returns on Saturday 11th April.
I leave to the States on the 10th April and won't be back again until the 18th April. On the 19th April is Dragonmeet South West.
By the time I return Dave *may* be in Scotland for a week or two.
Basically, Dave and myself will be living in the same flat but probably won't be seeing each other at all for the first almost two months! Insane!
I'll be starting my new job on 1st April.
I'll be aiming to come back to London atleast once a month where possible for a weekend (probably to coincide with Gameforce: London on the third Sunday) but until I get a car (and, er, pass my driving test) I don't think I'll be a frequent visitor due to train costs. Although there are a few gigs I'll be travelling up for. Apart from anything else I have a whole new part of the country to explore with lots of really nice towns and cities near by to torment - plus there's that thing called work which is going to be bloody busy for the forseeable.
I just can't believe that I won't be seeing my flatmate for two months. The closest I might get is if our planes pass in the air! :p
I also can't believe that I'm going to *not* be sleeping in my new flat for the first two weeks. That gives me the first weekend (that we move) to unpack a few bits and leave everything else stacked up for a fortnight.
I'm not even sure I'll have enough time to go for a drink with some of the other people I know down there before I have to come back to London. Plus there's a rock club at the end of our road that I won't have time to visit for a few weeks. I was looking forward to coming out of the club, staggering a couple of hundred meters down the road and into our apartment too!
Guess there will be plenty of time for that in the coming months though.
Of course, I have to *survive* the move first...
